Commissioned for a second time by super stylish Italian furniture designers Nobody & Co in collaboration with fantastic Scottish interiors brand Timorous Beasties.
The aim, following on from the 'Missing Spring Chair ' Collection, was to create a truly unique range of underwater inspired decorations for the Missing Chair. The inspiring idea being the chair sitting on the beach with the tide coming in and out, each time leaving a little trace of the ocean behind.
Delicate prints of sea urchins, coral and jellyfish were adorned with various 3d embroidery stitches such as Turkey work, satin stitch, and french knots. This in combination with glow in the dark elements, fly fishing tackle and unexpected items help to create an otherworldly texture and effect.
